Hotels in Moscow

As a travel blog, we like to travel and explore places all around the globe. Playa del Carmen is a long way from Moscow.  It’s actually 6258 miles (or 10070 km)!  The climates are very different as well. Moscow is much further north sitting at 55.45′  North while Playa del Carmen is in the Northern Hemisphere but is south of the Tropic of Cancer at 20.37′ North. To give you an idea the 55th parallel runs through British Columbia, Gulf of Alaska, Northern Denmark, Southern Norway and Glasgow, Scotland. There are many things that affect climate but it’s fair to say that Moscow is cold and Playa del Carmen is hot!

There are many differences between the the two locations and that’s what makes traveling fun.  When you talk to people from the tropics, they’re tired of the heat, the blazing sun and the afternoon thunderstorms. They’re looking for something different. Most of us in the United States think of the beach as a vacation but that’s because most of us live in colder climates or in cities. We want to slow things down.

I can only imagine it’s quite the opposite for people that live at the beach all of the time.  So, traveling to a world class city with a much colder climate that is rich in history might be the perfect travel experience. Did you know that the first signs of people in the vicinity of Moscow date back to the stone age! So, many things have happened in and around Moscow over the years. Maybe it’s time to bundle up, put down the tequila and drink some vodka! If you’re going to make the journey, no doubt you’ll need a place to stay in Moscow and may want to check this website for Moscow Hotels.
